Beschreibung

• Design and implement complex, scalable systems with minimal guidance • Build and maintain systems across application and infrastructure layers using TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, and Django • Own components or services from development through deployment, monitoring, and production support • Deploy and manage systems in AWS and other cloud environments using CI/CD, automated testing, and infrastructure as code • Design, build, and integrate APIs and data flows with PostgreSQL and cloud-based data services • Shape system design and contribute to architectural decisions, decision documents, and diagrams • Improve code quality, automated testing, linting, and development standards • Contribute to DevOps practices, deployment, monitoring, and incident response • Mentor engineers, review code and technical designs, and contribute to team growth and technical direction • Break down ambiguous or complex goals into concrete, feasible steps • Collaborate with product managers, designers, policy subject matter experts, government stakeholders, internal teams, and external stakeholders • Identify and respond to government requirements and policies affecting project work, including accessibility, PRA, FOIA, acquisition regulations, and security compliance • Participate in client virtual meetings and represent the company and team to clients • Initiate and drive cross-disciplinary projects and coach people across practice areas

🎯 Anforderungen

• 8 years of relevant professional experience • Ability to write high-quality, tested, maintainable, and reusable code in production software systems • Advanced proficiency in one or more modern programming languages, with professional experience in TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, or Go • Expertise in building secure, compliant software and minimizing vulnerability risk • Expertise in one or more adjacent specializations, such as data engineering, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or application security • Ability to operate as a self-starter in ambiguous environments, independently identifying and executing high-impact work • Proven ability to communicate technical results clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders • Experience working in government consulting engagements • Employees must work from the United States, including all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and all US territories • Must have been a resident in the United States for 3 of the past 5 years • Cannot reside in New York state • Must already have legal authorization to work in the US and not require ongoing visa sponsorship • Must be a permanent US resident • Must complete a Public Trust background investigation, including either the SF85 or SF85P questionnaire and fingerprinting • Flexibility in working hours if residing outside Eastern Standard Time • Active participation in client virtual meetings, including being on camera
