Beschreibung

• Create and complete bids, estimations, and quotations based on customer specifications, requirements, and budgets • Maintain and improve the balance between ABB units and customers in the area of responsibility • Review and evaluate project specifications and end-user customer requirements • Provide electrical solutions including one-line electrical diagrams, schematic diagrams, layout and equipment drawings, equipment specifications, and project budget pricing for low- and medium-voltage applications • Apply knowledge of protection and control relays and digital solutions across medium-voltage opportunities in collaboration with the local sales team • Formulate competitive bids, estimates, and quotations using the best product mix and appropriate technical and commercial considerations • Create well-documented tenders with full and accurate costs • Manage technical, financial, and, if required, project management aspects of bids, estimates, and quotations, including prices and trading conditions • Identify potential risks in bids, quotations, estimates, and related contract agreements • Provide information and/or participate in the risk review process in accordance with ABB policy • Collect and collate technical and cost information required to prepare proposals • Establish and maintain effective customer relationships and ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales process • Provide technical support to Sales Managers during customer technical meetings

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineer • 3 plus years of experience in Electrical Industry • Knowledge or experience with SEL Relays and other Digital Relay Protection systems is required • Knowledge in medium voltage equipment such as breakers, current transformers, relays etc. • Previous proposal generation or requisition engineering activities preferred • Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills • Proficient with proposal development tools including, but not limited to: SFDC, Empower, Word/Excel, PDF • Good communication, negotiation, autonomous, dynamic; conflict resolution • Strong blend of power systems design and communication skills • Must be able to communicate complex concepts to engineers, account managers, contractors and channel partners • Must be self-motivated to learn all ABB products/solutions and their associated value propositions in EL • Self-starter; accountable for results and able to work without detailed direction • Must already have work authorization to work in the US
