Beschreibung

• Manage all aspects of the assigned sales territory, including launching and selling products, meeting territory goals, and addressing customer needs. • Provide exceptional value and service using approved marketing and corporate resources to help providers identify and start appropriate patients on therapy. • Deliver results through territory business planning and execution. • Represent Acadia’s culture, mission, and values. • Develop relationships with healthcare professional customers, key opinion leaders, and relevant stakeholders. • Investigate customer concerns and coordinate timely problem resolution. • Analyze sales potential and execute appropriate calls, reach, frequency, business meals, and speaker programs within budgets and policy guidelines. • Collaborate with sales management, regional and area teammates, and cross-functional teams including patient access, market access, patient advocacy, sales operations, training, and marketing. • Attend patient/caregiver advocacy events, conferences, and trainings, including some weekends. • Build neuroscience and Acadia product knowledge and understand local and regional market trends. • Provide guidance on pricing and reimbursement and liaise with cross-functional teams on reimbursement questions. • Remain compliant with regulations and perform responsibilities professionally and accountably. • Pursue leadership opportunities and personal development. • Perform other duties as assigned.

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree required, with a strong preference for life sciences. • Senior Area Business Manager requires 8 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, including 5 years in specialty sales (emphasis in rare diseases). • Preferred experience in specialty sales including rare diseases, CNS/neurology, or pediatric neurology, and familiarity with specialty distribution and access. • Advanced selling and dialogue skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with KOLs, Centers Of Excellence, and multidisciplinary care teams. • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally to create and execute actionable business plans that ensure patient access to therapy. • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a self-motivated, proactive attitude. • Must live within the territory, with a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays and air travel. • Must be in good standing with the FDA and OIG. • Requires significant driving of a company-provided car and overnight and air travel as required by territory geography. • Must live within 30 miles of the required territory cities and potentially within reasonable distance of a major airport. • Ability to travel up to 80% and work after hours when required by travel schedule or business issues.
