Beschreibung

• Review and analyze prospects' existing QuickBooks files and/or financial reports • Prepare detailed analysis for data file review calls, including topics to cover • Participate in File Review calls and take detailed notes • Highlight items requiring clarification or follow-up • Conduct fact finding with prospective clients to understand business processes and operational nuances • Translate file review findings into insights and recommendations for proposals • Prepare draft proposal documents and time estimate worksheets according to ADC terms and conditions • Partner with Proposal Management to finalize proposal options and ensure accuracy and completeness • Review individual contracts for completeness and understand their intricacies • Reassess and amend contracts when scope, assumptions, or client needs change • Identify opportunities to improve the data file review, proposal preparation, and handoff process • Attend weekly Proposal Department and Sales Department meetings • Serve as a resource to Implementation during onboarding • Prepare and deliver documentation to Implementation after a prospect becomes a client • Assist with offboarding questions and use outcomes to refine assumptions and improve the proposal and sales process • Work outside normal hours as needed to meet objectives • Potentially split time between proposal development and client accounting work based on skill alignment and business needs

🎯 Anforderungen

• Strong alignment with AccountingDepartment.com’s mission and core values • Strong knowledge of fundamental bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices and procedures • Strong knowledge of accounting fundamentals and practical experience reviewing accounting system data and workflows (QuickBooks or similar) required • Ability to synthesize complex financial and operation data into clear recommendations and solutions • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Comfort asking probing questions to gain clarity during the proposal process • Able to adapt to ambiguous situations and exercise sound judgement • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously • Ability to prioritize workload and shift gears based on workload and project demands • Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word • Professional, friendly and approachable demeanor with strong customer service orientation • Comfortable working with many different personality types • Team oriented and comfortable working with others in a telecommuting environment using video conferencing • Minimum 3 – 5 years accounting experience, preferably in a Client Accounting Services (CAS) environment • Familiarity with implementation processes and procedures, preferred • Resume and cover letter required • Salary requirements must be included in the cover letter
