Beschreibung

• Conduct hands-on inspections of plant and equipment at factories, warehouses, and other commercial premises • Evaluate pressure, compressed air, steam equipment, pressure vessels, boilers, and other installations • Work closely with the Engineer Surveyor Team under a Senior Operations Team Leader • Prepare electronic reports of examination following inspections • Assess installations, anticipate problems, and help clients comply with relevant legislation • Organise meetings, visits, and work allocation • Travel to client sites within the allocated work area • Support and deputise for fellow Engineer Surveyors when required

🎯 Anforderungen

• Candidates must hold at least a Level 3 qualification in a relevant engineering discipline—preferably Mechanical Engineering—or be actively working towards an equivalent credential • Background working with steam generation, compressed air and associated plant • Manufacturing (QA and production), maintenance and operation, repair and site inspection experience • Up-to-date knowledge and understanding of relevant compliance and regulatory rules and procedures relating to the Pressure Mechanical discipline • Strong customer interaction skills • Good oral and written communication skills • Full valid UK driving licence • Time management skills and ability to independently organise the week's work • Ability to travel effectively within the local allocated work area • Ability to process documentation and undertake general administration in a timely manner • Willingness to support and deputise for fellow Engineer Surveyors of the same discipline • Comfortable using tablets and smartphones • Incorporated Engineer (desirable) • Understanding of Responsible AI principles (desirable)
