• Support the development and delivery of specific aspects of the UK and Ireland business plan • Be the responsible person for the development and delivery of specific national and local projects • Build and maintain strategic relationships with national and regional payors, policy makers and other relevant stakeholders • Planning, tracking, and monitoring of budgets for specific projects and customer related activities • Active liaison with all relevant internal colleagues • Ensure a high level of policy and therapeutic area knowledge • Ensure compliance with all company & applicable external regulations • Role model Amicus behaviours and values • Mapping of national and regional policy and services plans for rare disease • Responsible for supporting the development and delivery of plans to positively impact the policy environment • Delivery of specific national and local projects as outlined in the business plan
• Scientific and/or Business Degree • Outstanding project management with proven success • Excellent knowledge of NHS healthcare systems and specialised commissioning • Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the collaborative working contracting process • Experience and demonstrated success in working in partnership across the UK healthcare system • Pharmaceutical sales, marketing & market access experience • Proven leadership and a track record of project delivery in cross functional and matrix teams • Proven ability to create, build, and sustain relationships • Passion for the job, dedicated to role modelling Amicus behaviours and values • Entrepreneurship and hands on-mentality • Excellent planning, organisation & business analytics skills • Strong presentation and effective interpersonal skills • The ability to understand, communicate and present complex information to a high standard • Experience in delivering projects in full accordance with PMPCA compliance regulations • A problem solver that can take a project from A to Z with a bias for act • A strong moral compass and clear alignment with Amicus Core Values • Gravitas, integrity, discretion, credibility and action focused • Solid judgment and business acumen • Innovative and entrepreneurial mindset • Autonomy, self-motivation and efficient, with an appropriate sense of urgency in a fast-paced and dynamic environment • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously • Strong verbal and written skills with ability to explain complex, challenging issues in a clear manner to all levels • Strong interpersonal skills, including diplomacy and flexibility, and the ability to negotiate effectively
