Beschreibung

• Improve platform quality through testing and regression gates, progressive delivery, fast rollback, supply-chain and policy checks, and visible, attributable costs • Operate the platform as a curated internal product by identifying team bottlenecks, prioritizing capabilities, publishing the roadmap, and measuring adoption, delivery speed, stability, and developer satisfaction • Build self-service APIs, templates, and golden paths for CI/CD, environments, and observability • Lead migrations by tracking usage, automating processes, completing final implementation work, and sunsetting legacy systems • Manage platform stakeholders and guide teams toward standardized platform practices • Set technical direction and evolve the platform • Coach Senior Engineers through design partnership and review • Span Arcadia's petabyte-scale lakehouse and Kubernetes-based client-facing applications • Report directly to the engineering VP

🎯 Anforderungen

• Software engineering experience with clean abstractions and APIs • Systems engineering depth in cloud, Kubernetes, networking, and infrastructure as code (IaC) • Experience owning SLOs, observability, on-call, and incident response • Customer empathy and ability to identify genuine user needs • Experience delivering large, long-running projects through completion • Clear philosophy on structuring infrastructure and delivery for security, velocity, and reliability • Current, hands-on production coding experience • Ability to research, prototype, and deliver pragmatic solutions • Drive to reduce toil through software • Ability to initiate and execute work organization-wide • No healthcare background required • Regulated-data experience such as HIPAA, PHI, SOC 2, or HITRUST environments (preferred) • Public speaking, writing, or open-source experience (preferred) • Experience turning an infrastructure or DevOps team into a product-minded platform team (preferred) • Experience building scalable platform support, including support tiers, office hours, documentation, and developer advocacy (preferred) • Experience making cloud and CI costs visible and actionable (preferred)
