Beschreibung

• Design, develop, and unit test Python and Django backend services and REST APIs within a three-week Agile sprint cadence • Build data transformation and ETL routines for moving, mapping, normalizing, validating, and reconciling content and metadata between enterprise systems • Implement content identification, filtering, classification, business-rule selection, and manual, scheduled, and event-driven triggers • Develop API integrations and content transfer features with authentication, authorization, secure transport, retries, error handling, and transaction logging • Develop and tune PostgreSQL queries and contribute to relational schema design and migrations • Implement asynchronous and background processing for long-running or batched content operations • Maintain and extend existing Java components • Integrate malware scanning, integrity validation, and routing utility services • Build workflow administration support including work queues, role-based permissions, exception handling, and audit logging • Maintain Solr and Elasticsearch search features • Develop accessible responsive interfaces with TypeScript, React, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 according to WCAG 2.1 • Deploy and maintain AWS services, Terraform infrastructure-as-code, and Docker containers • Use Jenkins and Git for continuous integration, automated testing, and code quality checks • Author unit tests and collaborate with government QA and testing staff on acceptance, integration, and accessibility testing • Participate in Agile ceremonies and manage JIRA user stories • Respond to code review feedback and follow client coding standards and definition of done • Handle Controlled Unclassified Information within client-owned and client-managed systems • Support engagement closeout by finalizing documentation and closing tickets

🎯 Anforderungen

• Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience on Agile teams • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent additional experience • Strong hands-on experience building Python backend services and REST APIs, including production Django experience • Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, including query writing and tuning and schema design • Working proficiency in Java to maintain, extend, and troubleshoot existing components • Hands-on experience with TypeScript and React front-end development • Working experience with Solr and Elasticsearch • Experience developing microservices and REST APIs, including authentication, authorization, and error handling • Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript • Experience developing and deploying applications in AWS • Working experience with Terraform infrastructure-as-code • Experience with Jenkins continuous integration and Git source control • Experience in Agile and Scrum environments, including JIRA user-story development and story-point estimation • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work on a fully remote integrated government and contractor team • Public Trust eligibility and ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability Determination • U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work full-time in the United States • Sponsorship is not available
