Beschreibung

• Take full accountability for assigned SOW tasks and deliverables, ensuring on-time delivery, quality execution, and high customer satisfaction • Analyze and resolve technical challenges within SOW scope by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions while adhering to change management procedures • Gather requirements for data pipeline integration (ELT) development and data mapping • Drive the data discovery and file requirements process • Proactively monitor client batch cycle (ETL) processes, ensuring successful execution and responding quickly to failures • Automate deployment processes and develop tools to monitor system health, reliability, and business-critical processes • Maintain accurate task statuses and communicate progress, risks, issues, and dependencies to internal teams and clients • Escalate risks and issues in a timely manner and actively participate in daily standups and team discussions • Build project estimates and partner with Project Managers on task planning and allocation • Establish and promote engineering best practices, technical standards, and consistent approaches across the Custom Services engineering lane • Provide technical mentorship, guidance, and support to other engineers • Serve as a senior technical resource for solution design, architecture, and technical decision-making • Partner with other leaders to improve processes, documentation, standards, and tooling • Identify and implement improvements to engineering efficiency, quality, scalability, and consistency • Foster knowledge sharing through documentation, reusable solutions, and team learning • Collaborate with Project Managers, analysts, engineers, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful client delivery • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned

🎯 Anforderungen

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or a similar hands-on technical role • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience • AWS or Snowflake technical certification, such as AWS Solutions Architect Associate or above, or a comparable certification • Strong Python development experience, with a track record of building production-grade applications, automation, or data solutions • Experience with additional programming or scripting languages such as C#, JavaScript, or Go is a plus • Demonstrated experience mentoring and developing other engineers through technical guidance, knowledge sharing, code reviews, and ongoing feedback • Experience serving as a senior technical resource or technical lead, including influencing solution design, architecture, engineering standards, and technical decision-making • A continuous improvement mindset with experience identifying and implementing improvements to engineering processes, documentation, tooling, or development practices • Experience with containerization, orchestration, and cloud technologies such as Docker, ECS, Fargate, Kubernetes, microservices, and message queues • Strong Linux or Unix experience • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices, such as Jenkins or Bitbucket Pipelines • Experience working with relational and cloud databases such as Snowflake, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, or DB2 • Experience designing and integrating with REST APIs, SDKs, and CLI tools • Experience working with multiple data and file formats, including JSON, XML, CSV, and flat files • Strong understanding of software engineering, testing, version control, and deployment best practices • Demonstrated experience successfully designing and delivering multiple production software applications or data engineering projects • Experience working with Git, Jira, Confluence, and Slack in an Agile development environment • Exposure to NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or DynamoDB is a plus • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with engineers, project managers, analysts, and customers • Ability to take ownership of complex technical problems, operate independently, and help others navigate challenges when the path forward is not immediately clear • Please submit both a cover letter and resume
