Beschreibung

• Plan, deploy, and configure on-premises and cloud-based servers, storage, networking, and virtualization platforms. • Implement automation for provisioning, configuration management, and deployment using industry tools and scripting. • Assist in capacity planning and performance tuning. • Perform routine system administration tasks including OS and application patching, backups, user and permission management, and log review. • Monitor system health and respond to alerts, following established runbooks and escalation procedures. • Maintain infrastructure documentation and standard operating procedures. • Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protections, encryption) and follow least-privilege principles. • Support vulnerability assessments, patch management, and remediation activities to meet regulatory requirements. • Assist in audit readiness. • Develop and maintain automation scripts and CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments. • Design, configure, and tune monitoring and alerting systems for actionable observability. • Continuously evaluate new tools and process improvements to increase operational efficiency. • Provide level-2/3 support for production incidents, participate in on-call rotations, and contribute to post-incident reviews. • Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to support troubleshooting and change management. • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing.

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. • 3+ years of hands-on experience in systems engineering, systems administration, or site reliability engineering supporting Linux and/or Windows server environments. • Strong experience with Linux administration (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) and familiarity with Windows Server. • Proficiency with virtualization (VMware, KVM) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is preferred. • Practical experience with one or more cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure-as-code or automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation). • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, load balancers, VPNs, and security best practices. • Experience with monitoring/logging/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog) and strong troubleshooting skills. • Ability to write scripts in Bash, Python, or PowerShell. • Relevant certifications (e.g., RHCE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CCNA) are a plus but not required.
