Beschreibung

• Contribute to the strategic vision for data engineering • Participate in architectural design and development of complex data solutions • Design and implement data systems and infrastructure • Ensure reliability, scalability, performance, and security of data systems • Execute day-to-day data engineering tasks and complex engineering work • Influence decisions about the data technology stack, infrastructure, and tools • Create and deploy data architectures and workflows • Set coding standards and best practices for the Data Engineering & Operations team • Conduct and participate in code reviews • Collaborate with database developers, software developers, product management, and AI/ML developers • Monitor progress, adjust priorities, and meet project deadlines and objectives • Identify and implement internal process improvements, including automation and data delivery optimization • Provide technical guidance and training to peers • Follow Assent’s corporate security policies and procedures

🎯 Anforderungen

• Degree in a related field and 7+ years of data engineering experience • Strong project management skills • Ability to communicate complex concepts effectively • Proficiency in AWS, dbt, Snowflake, Git, R, Python, SQL, and SQL Server • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy • Understanding of data management systems • Understanding of warehouse methodologies • Understanding of data quality standards • Understanding of data modeling techniques • Understanding of governance protocols • Understanding of advanced analytics • Familiarity with agile work environments and scrum ceremonies • Strong business acumen • Experience aligning data initiatives with business objectives • Familiarity with corporate security policies and related procedures
