Beschreibung

• Make regular planned visits to member stores serving in a liaison capacity between the store and warehouse • Interpret meat department operating statements and conduct operational analysis of the department • Develop weekly ad item and price selections • Conduct training for department managers and personnel • Maximize meat retail sales and warehouse purchases for assigned stores • Assist in the development of meat case configurations, both fixtures and product layout • Develop sales programs such as seasonal meat merchandising, value-added initiatives, handbills, and continuity programs • Keep management informed on all planning, work performed, and results achieved • Promote special selling events: truckload sales, 12-hour sales, 3-day events • Participate in all warehouse programs

🎯 Anforderungen

• High school diploma • Management experience in retail/wholesale meat operations • Understanding of retail/wholesale meat operations and merchandising • Ability to operate scales, wrappers, and hand jacks • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
