Beschreibung

• Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance TERPS software capabilities, services, and microservices • Develop and maintain web-based application functionality, APIs, database interfaces, and integrations • Build software that ingests, processes, validates, and exchanges complex aeronautical and geospatial data • Support integration of DAFIF, DVOF, DTED, SRTM, TanDEM-X, and AIXM data sources • Develop software interacting with relational and spatial databases, including PostgreSQL/PostGIS • Develop software for AWS and/or OpenShift cloud-hosted environments • Participate in Agile development using two-week sprints and an established release cycle • Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests • Participate in code reviews, code quality checks, troubleshooting, defect resolution, and software maintenance • Support GitLab source control and automated CI/CD pipelines • Remediate software vulnerabilities and security findings and support secure software development requirements • Develop and maintain technical, deployment, release, interface, and test documentation • Collaborate with Software Architects, Software Engineers, SMEs, Government Product Owners, and integration personnel • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced software engineers as appropriate

🎯 Anforderungen

• Minimum 10 years’ experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or 7 years’ experience with a Master’s degree in a related field • Experience developing and maintaining complex software applications • Strong experience with modern programming languages, frameworks, APIs, and database technologies • Experience developing microservices and/or service-oriented applications • Experience with relational databases and database integration • Experience with cloud-based application development and/or containerized application environments • Experience with Git-based source control, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern software development practices • Experience troubleshooting, debugging, testing, and maintaining production software • Experience working within Agile software development teams • Ability to independently solve complex technical problems and contribute to software design decisions • Preferred: AWS, OpenShift, Kubernetes, containers, or comparable cloud technologies • Preferred: PostgreSQL/PostGIS and geospatial applications • Preferred: aeronautical, aviation, GIS, GEOINT, terrain, or geospatial datasets • Preferred: DAFIF, DVOF, DTED, SRTM, TanDEM-X, AIXM, or similar data formats • Preferred: Federal Government and/or DoD software programs • Preferred: RMF, A&A, DevSecOps, secure coding, and software vulnerability remediation • Security+ Certification preferred • No security clearance required; must be eligible to meet applicable HSPD-12/Tier 1 requirements for CUI access
