Beschreibung

• Perform and review accounting tasks across accounts payable and expense, cash, payroll, tax, fixed assets, and capitalized software, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and internal controls • Manage month-end and year-end close processes for assigned operational areas, including preparation and review of journal entries and account reconciliations • Monitor accounts payable and treasury functions to support cash flow management and vendor relationships • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements, implementing solutions to enhance efficiency • Work cross-functionally with teams across the company to ensure financial processes align with business objectives • Coordinate and manage external audits for assigned areas • Develop and maintain policies and procedures to support the company’s growth and scalability • Partner with HR to support payroll processing and reconciliations, with knowledge of payroll tax implications being a valuable asset • Support tax compliance activities, fixed asset accounting, and the capitalization and amortization of internal-use software

🎯 Anforderungen

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; exposure to insurance accounting and reporting is a plus • At least 5 years of experience in accounting operations or public accounting, with prior experience in a managerial role preferred • Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting principles • Experience with process automation and ERP systems; proficiency in NetSuite is a plus • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with data visualization tools • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills • A proactive mindset with the ability to challenge existing processes and drive continuous improvement • Integrity, empathy, and a commitment to collaboration
