Beschreibung

• Becht is looking for mid-career Civil Structural Engineer who wants to take the next step in their technical career. • We are a world-class, family-owned multidiscipline engineering firm serving the energy sector (refining, petrochemical, and power generation industries). • Providing expertise that spans both traditional and emerging technology. • Becht is a technical leader in pressure vessels, piping, structures, and materials and as such has a major role in international codes and standards, allowing a unique opportunity to both learn and contribute at an industry-wide level. • We emphasize multidiscipline problem-solving and collaboration to solve the most challenging design and equipment reliability problems.

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering or closely related discipline • 5+ years’ civil and structural experience in the refining, petrochemical or power generation industries • Foundation and structural design experience • Knowledge of plant layout and operations • Foundation / reinforced concrete design • Experience working with refinery/plant equipment (tanks, plate structures, boilers, stacks, tabletop structures, fired heater incasing, etc.) • Professional and/or Structural Engineering License • Experience with the application of industry codes and standards such as ASCE 7, AISC, ACI • Experience with field troubleshooting, repairs and system walk-downs and the ability to travel to customer sites. • Experience with turnaround support, planning & execution. • Experience with the commercial software AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD.Pro, Risa, or SAP2000. • Strong grasp of engineering fundamentals and mechanics. • Self-motivated with strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
