Beschreibung

• Serve as the corporate expert for DCS, PLC, SIS, and advanced process control systems • Develop, maintain, and roll out corporate automation standards and best practices • Lead control system upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives • Support site engineers with troubleshooting, tuning, network issues, and system performance • Partner with Operations, Maintenance, EHS, IT, and Engineering across multiple locations • Oversee system integrators, review design packages, and validate control logic • Contribute to capital projects ensuring automation strategy is aligned with safety, reliability, and business needs • Drive cybersecurity compliance and automation lifecycle management • Mentor and train site controls/automation personnel

🎯 Anforderungen

• Degree in Chemical, Electrical, Controls, or related engineering field (or equivalent experience) • Experience with process controls in chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, or similar industries • Strong proficiency with DCS/PLC platforms and control system troubleshooting • Ability to support multiple sites remotely and travel as needed (~20%) • Experience with SIS, APC, or cybersecurity practices is a plus • Strong analytical skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
