Beschreibung

• Build and maintain the self-service developer portal and developer-facing tooling for a federal agency’s platform • Design and automate cross-platform workflows spanning source control, CI/CD, issue tracking, observability, and collaboration tools • Build reusable automation patterns using APIs, bots, webhooks, event-driven services, IaC, and internal tooling • Integrate identity, access management, provisioning, and compliance controls across SaaS platforms • Monitor and maintain workflow reliability through failure detection, retry strategies, and audit logging • Translate research-backed interaction patterns and onboarding flows into working, instrumented software • Deliver platform improvements that reduce setup time, accelerate deployment cycles, and improve release confidence • Collaborate closely with UX and documentation specialists • Perform other relevant duties as qualified and trained

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Hands-on experience designing and automating cross-platform workflows spanning source control, CI/CD pipelines, issue tracking, observability, and collaboration tools • Ability to build reusable automation patterns using APIs, bots, webhooks, event-driven services, IaC, and internal tooling • Experience integrating identity, access management, provisioning, and compliance controls across SaaS platforms • Capability in monitoring and maintaining workflow reliability, including failure detection, retry strategies, and audit logging • Ability to independently deliver measurable developer-experience improvements while preventing tool sprawl and fragmentation • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Tier 4 High Risk Public Trust clearance • Legally authorized to work in the US • Bixal does not provide visa sponsorship • Experience building internal developer portals or platform-as-product tooling (nice to have) • Familiarity with GitLab, Jira, Confluence, Datadog, and Figma-integrated toolchains (nice to have) • Experience applying human-centered design inputs directly into software delivery (nice to have) • Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as GSA USAi, AWS Bedrock, and Microsoft Copilot (nice to have)
