Beschreibung

• Optimize utilization of Brookhaven NeuroRehabilitation Network’s continuum of care • Develop and maintain relationships with the professional community in designated markets through strategic activities • Provide professionals with information about hospital programs • Create opportunities for training and education of professionals • Develop contracts for service between the hospital, Workers Compensation referral and payer sources • Educate insurance, case management, and medical professionals • Conduct evaluations of potential BNN patients in off-site locations, remotely and in person • Provide families of potential patients with advocacy, support, and education • Coordinate admission of potential patients with outside referral sources and funding • Coordinate administrative aspects of funding approval with Workers Compensation insurance payers • Initiate prospecting of potential new referral and funding sources through ongoing outreach • Maintain existing relationships through ongoing contacts and customer service • Represent BNN at area, regional, and national conferences • Coordinate conference activity with BNN speakers • Represent BNN at assigned functions, meetings, and activities • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

🎯 Anforderungen

• Must have a bachelor’s degree • RN preferred • Eligibility or maintenance of CRNN/CCM certification and credentials • Minimum of 3-5 years experience • Must have knowledge of specialty healthcare systems related primarily to mental health, TBI, neuro-rehabilitation, disability, and case management practices • Knowledge of Workers Compensation and reimbursement issues • Competent to administer, score and interpret required psychometric instruments • Competent to conduct face-to-face evaluation with a person with a severe brain injury • Competent to review and integrate medical and rehabilitation information for patient assessment and admissions consideration • Must possess a valid driver’s license • Ability to read, write, and process information accurately • Ability to sit or stand for long period of time • Ability to walk long distances
