Beschreibung

• Provide advice and consultation supporting the positive associate relations strategy • Investigate associate open door concerns and complex or high-level-risk issues • Establish investigation plans, gather facts, interview witnesses, and review similar cases • Handle complex and emotionally charged issues objectively and confidentially • Manage disciplinary action and termination disputes through grievance procedures and policy administration • Collaborate with stakeholders while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive matters • Recommend policy changes and improvements to unproductive internal processes • Prepare detailed responses and exhibits for the EEOC or state equal employment opportunity commissions • Support grievance responses, arbitration, collective bargaining, and labor management meetings • Advise managers on diagnosing and resolving issues using HR knowledge, policies, procedures, collective bargaining agreements, and applicable law • Interpret and apply federal and state labor and employment laws • Identify risk and potential company liability and obtain legal counsel when warranted

🎯 Anforderungen

• Required 4-year/Bachelor's degree in Human Resources • 5–7 years of experience in Human Resources, including recent employee relations investigations experience • Excellent customer service, communication, interpersonal, listening, oral, and written communication skills • Ability to probe based on responses and communicate challenging information effectively • Skilled in interviewing employees, witnesses, and supervisors • Ability to prepare detailed documentation and maintain files for potential future claims • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills • Ability to maintain highly confidential information • Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality • Knowledge of federal and state employment law • Preferred graduate degree in Human Resources • SPHR certification preferred • Preferred 5+ years of experience in Employee and Labor Relations or a related field • Preferred 3+ years of related Human Resources or business management experience
