Beschreibung

• Lead and manage the Global Contracts Management team • Provide global oversight and accountability for clinical site contract agreements • Develop and execute the global Clinical Site Contracts strategy, vision, governance framework, and operating model • Develop and oversee global governance models, portfolio plans, project plans, operational frameworks, policies, procedures, SOPs, templates, playbooks, and best practices • Oversee development, negotiation, execution, amendment, maintenance, and close-out of global site contracts • Serve as senior escalation point for complex negotiations, site-specific issues, and institutional contracting challenges • Partner with Clinical Operations, Legal, Finance, Global R&D Sourcing, Compliance, CROs, external institutions, and other stakeholders • Identify contracting risks and implement mitigation strategies to accelerate study startup and reduce delays • Conduct risk reviews against study and portfolio milestones • Provide strategic oversight of study startup activities and contracting dependencies • Communicate contract status, negotiation progress, risks, and critical path issues to senior leadership and study stakeholders • Oversee alignment between negotiated budgets, payment terms, and contractual obligations • Lead project review and governance meetings focused on contract performance, financial outcomes, startup effectiveness, and portfolio success • Oversee governance and performance of contract service providers, FSP partners, CROs, and external vendors • Establish and monitor KPIs, SLAs, quality standards, and productivity measures • Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance contract cycle times, quality, scalability, and operational efficiency • Develop performance dashboards and operational reporting for executive decision-making • Optimize contract lifecycle management systems, workflows, automation, and reporting capabilities • Ensure compliance with regulations, ICH-GCP requirements, company policies, legal standards, and industry best practices • Ensure inspection readiness, audit preparedness, and quality standards • Lead, mentor, and develop the global Site Contracts organization • Provide supervisory oversight for recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, performance management, succession planning, workload balancing, resource allocation, and career development • Build the organizational structure needed for current and future business needs • Ensure departmental productivity, performance targets, staffing requirements, and service levels • Foster accountability, collaboration, innovation, inclusion, and continuous learning

🎯 Anforderungen

• Leadership experience in global clinical site contracting • Experience overseeing Clinical Trial Agreements, Investigator Agreements, Confidential Disclosure Agreements, Site Master Service Agreements, Pharmacy Agreements, Ancillary Agreements, Consulting Agreements, and Subcontractor Agreements • Knowledge of clinical trial contracting lifecycle management • Experience developing global strategies, governance frameworks, operating models, policies, procedures, SOPs, templates, playbooks, and best practices • Experience with contract negotiation models and complex contractual negotiations • Experience identifying and mitigating country-, site-, and study-specific contracting risks • Experience with contract negotiation reports, financial metrics, operational performance indicators, KPIs, SLAs, quality standards, and productivity measures • Experience overseeing contract service providers, FSP partners, CROs, and external vendors • Knowledge of applicable regulations, ICH-GCP requirements, company policies, legal standards, and industry best practices • Experience with contract lifecycle management systems, workflows, automation, dashboards, reporting, benchmarking, and data analysis • Supervisory experience including recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, performance management, succession planning, workload balancing, resource allocation, and career development • Ability to lead, mentor, and develop a global Site Contracts organization • No explicit educational credential requirement stated
