Beschreibung

• Own and deliver quarterly objectives for the team, leading engineers through ambiguity to solve complex, open-ended problems and ensuring successful execution • Collaborate with Product Management, Design, and Analytics throughout the product development lifecycle • Contribute to ideation, define technical constraints, and help evaluate risks and trade-offs • Identify project, process, technology, and business challenges and lead solutions • Support service reliability and availability by defining and monitoring key metrics • Participate in incident management, operational excellence, and on-call activities • Establish and promote best practices for software design, architecture, and code reviews • Foster a culture of quality, engineering excellence, and ownership • Mentor and support engineers through constructive feedback, knowledge sharing, and leading by example

🎯 Anforderungen

• 4+ years of experience designing, developing, and delivering scalable backend systems using Python, Kotlin, or similar languages • Experience building and maintaining highly available distributed systems in cloud environments • Experience with AWS, MySQL, Spark, or equivalent platforms • Ability to define and execute technical plans for significant features or system components • Focus on scalable, maintainable, and extensible design • Experience working within large codebases and implementing substantial changes safely • Engineering best practices, automation, testing, and deployment processes • Ownership mindset and commitment to continuous learning, professional growth, and proactive feedback • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to collaborate across distributed and global engineering teams • Nice to have: experience with high-scale customer-facing platforms • Nice to have: knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven systems • Nice to have: familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and modern DevOps practices • Nice to have: experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction across teams
