Beschreibung

• Define and evangelize a technical vision for embedding AI and automated code transformation into the developer lifecycle • Decompose complex problems into practical and operational solutions • Ensure the quality of technical design and implementation • Serve as an authoritative expert on performance, scalability, operability, and other non-functional system characteristics • Continue learning and inject advanced technical knowledge into the engineering community • Handle several projects simultaneously and balance time to maximize impact • Mentor and coach engineering and product communities • Contribute to and review critical application repositories • Develop full-stack applications across frontend and backend ecosystems • Partner with Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions teams to architect intelligent, real-time risk management products using AI • Write production code and participate in complex system design reviews • Act as a trusted advisor for key technologies, platforms, and capability domains • Create communications, code samples, blog posts, and other knowledge-sharing materials

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s Degree • At least 7 years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture • At least 7 years of experience in enterprise architecture and design patterns • At least 5 years of experience in cloud computing using AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud • At least 5 years of experience in data architecture, including event-driven and real-time architectures • Capital One will consider sponsoring a new qualified applicant for employment authorization • Preferred: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field • Preferred: 10+ years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture • Preferred: 10+ years of professional coding experience in Java, Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, Swift, or similar languages • Preferred: 8+ years of experience across the full system development lifecycle • Experience applying Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning concepts to engineering challenges • Practical knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering principles, chaos engineering, and observability tooling such as OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and tracing • Experience implementing Artificial Intelligence or AI-enabled solutions
