Beschreibung

• Lead and manage daily operations within the assigned function area • Evaluate processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and standardized best practices across the Mid-Revenue Cycle • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and organizational policies • Maintain confidentiality of patient records and report perceived non-compliant practices • Use KPIs to measure effectiveness, track trends, and implement data-driven improvement strategies • Leverage healthcare technology and analytics tools to enhance efficiency and decision-making • Collaborate with clinical, IT, Compliance, and Revenue Cycle leaders • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships to drive communication, problem-solving, and operational alignment • Manage and develop a team, including hiring, performance evaluations, and professional development • Provide training, feedback, and career growth opportunities • Lead strategic initiatives, oversee timelines, and drive system enhancements

🎯 Anforderungen

• Relevant industry certification from an approved accrediting body • Bachelor’s degree in health information management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience • Minimum 8 years of experience in mid-revenue cycle operations, coding, HIM, or healthcare technology • 2+ years of leadership experience in a large integrated healthcare system • Knowledge of facility coding, professional coding, and HIM operational guidelines and workflows • Understanding of third-party reimbursement programs, state and federal regulatory requirements, national and local coverage decisions, and ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS • Ability to organize, compile, and analyze data from various sources • Strong understanding of EHR systems and revenue cycle technology solutions • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access • Experience optimizing workflows and improving operational effectiveness in a complex healthcare environment • Ability to prioritize business needs and manage resources • Proven ability to manage teams, coach staff, and foster continuous improvement and accountability • Ability to work across departments and within matrix organizational structures • Strong interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills • Creative problem-solving, deadline management, accuracy, and attention to detail • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. occasionally • Job may require travel
