Beschreibung

• Define data governance policies and processes with a focus on Data Quality (quality, reliability, lineage, regulatory compliance, among others); • Help design and build solutions that facilitate adherence to established policies, defining quality dimensions (accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness, validity, uniqueness) and representation metrics for data, pipelines, dashboards, and other assets; • Participate in defining and evolving the Governance framework, promoting a data-driven culture and advancing the discipline of Data Quality across teams; • Support initiatives for new technologies and ways of working with data to ensure they are introduced with defined governance, helping data domains adopt practices of ownership, accountability, and interoperability; • Develop governance monitors and indicators, such as reliability scorecards for data assets, building mechanisms for validation, automated testing, and alerts for continuous quality monitoring; • Develop and promote the use of reusable libraries, data profiling, and anomaly detection at scale; • Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure data pipelines comply with defined policies.

🎯 Anforderungen

• Previous experience with data governance (Data Governance, Data Stewardship, Metadata Management, etc.), with a focus on involvement in Data Quality initiatives; • Ability to adapt governance theory to day-to-day operational realities, with deep knowledge of data quality dimensions and how to apply them in practice; • Hands-on experience with monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting data issues, including implementing Data Incident Response processes; • Experience in Data Engineering or Software Engineering (building data pipelines, microservices, git, testing, modularization, and orchestration); • Solid understanding of the data lifecycle and modern architecture principles (Data Lake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse); • Knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure); • Ability to write and interpret SQL queries and Python scripts for data analysis, transformation, and validation; • Good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences; ability to translate technical complexity into accessible language; • Experience with metadata management, data lineage, and data classification; • Collaborative, resilient mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
