Beschreibung

• Review prepared FHA supplemental claims for FHA loans before filing • Review claims timely and accurately according to insurer guidelines and requirements • Confirm the accuracy of initial claim analysis, initial claim payment, and new advances included in supplemental claim filings • Verify required documentation is included in claim files and uploaded to the agency system • Maintain updates in LoanServ and update CITs when actions occur • Provide corrections to claim filers identified during quality review and follow up within 24 hours • Maintain monthly performance aligned with quality expectations • Complete ad hoc projects related to FHA loans and supplemental claims • Stay current on GSE guideline, industry standard, and client expectation changes • Complete assigned projects and tasks on time, renegotiating deadlines when necessary • Identify process improvements to reduce costs and eliminate non-essential or manual activities • Keep the Team Lead and Supervisor informed of trends and problems, including claim denials, curtailments, and payment offsets • Work under general direction to accomplish department goals and reduce or mitigate financial loss to CMS and its clients • Learn new skills and expand job knowledge

🎯 Anforderungen

• High School diploma required • Associate/Bachelor Degree in accounting or another related field preferred • Three (3) or more years’ previous FHA claims experience • Two (2) or more years of quality assurance experience • Strong working knowledge of Default Servicing processes including Loss Mitigation, Bankruptcy, Foreclosure, Conveyance, and Claims • Knowledge of mortgage servicing state, federal, and agency guidelines and timelines • Strong knowledge of FHA default claim processes and agency guidelines • Solid computer skills with MS Word and Excel • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills • Strong writing skills, including proper punctuation, grammar, organization, and formatting • Ability to substantiate facts and properly document them • Ability to work effectively with staff, management, investors/insurers, and third parties • Ability to make decisions with moderate impact to the immediate work unit • Ability to identify urgent matters and escalate them appropriately • Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure and changing priorities
