Beschreibung

• Provide tax equity investment consulting services for clients • Lead and grow a team with industry deal and modeling experience • Build Cherry Bekaert’s renewable energy practice • Advise on Inflation Reduction Act energy credits and the post-OB3 credit regime • Support credit transferability transactions under Section 6418 • Advise on the Direct Pay regime under Section 6417 • Perform eligible basis substantiation and support cost segregation • Evaluate credit adders and enhancers, including prevailing wage and apprenticeship, domestic content, and energy community qualification • Assess Foreign Entity of Concern rules and credit recapture risk • Apply general tax equity transaction mechanics • Build market presence through webinars and published articles • Work with core tax partners to bring credit transfer opportunities to them • Work with outside brokers and firms offering available tax credits on the transferability market • Travel up to 10%

🎯 Anforderungen

• 7+ years’ experience providing tax planning services or preparing and reviewing client work papers and income tax returns • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or another business-related field • Knowledge of HLBV accounting concepts • Certified or in the process of obtaining a CPA, enrolled agent, or other appropriate certification • Financial modeling expertise • Travel up to 10% • Previous Big 4 experience • Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Knowledge of fund accounting and general ledger accounting • Basic understanding of Subchapter K and investment partnership taxation • Knowledge of tax equity investment structures • Knowledge of investment and production tax credits associated with wind, solar, and biomass projects • Eligibility to work in the United States • Cherry Bekaert will not provide work sponsorship
