Beschreibung

• Lead and be accountable for the health and safety of all employees, contractors, and visitors • Champion continuous improvement of safety performance and ensure environmental compliance • Oversee equipment reliability with the maintenance team • Ensure compliance with CHEP procedures, work instructions, and safety protocols • Implement best practices and continuous improvement processes to optimize safety, quality, and cost control • Maintain site security and manage storage, stock levels, and movement of materials and equipment • Manage, lead, and develop plant staff • Ensure internal and external customer expectations are met or exceeded • Provide rapid, high-impact leadership intervention to stabilize operations, cover vacancies, or drive turnarounds • Lead full site operations across production, safety, cost, quality, and service • Execute first-90-day plans and translate network priorities into plant execution • Deploy to plants within the U.S. Service Center Network for months at a time • Lead turnaround or underperforming-site interventions and improve KPIs • Coach site leadership teams while driving continuous improvement and turnaround initiatives • Support site openings, conversions, transformations, M&A integrations, startups, and closures • Fill leadership gaps and prepare sites for permanent Plant Manager placement • Own full plant P&L

🎯 Anforderungen

• 7 to 10 years’ experience in Plant/Site Leader roles in manufacturing or similar production environment • Proven ability to run stable, performing site • Strong people leader with consistent execution and history • Continuous Improvement/Lean and operational excellence experience strongly preferred • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred • Deep operational execution experience • Rapid Situational assessment ability • Strong turnaround skills • High mobility and travel flexibility • Strong turnaround and crisis leadership capability • Ability to establish credibility quickly • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and complex situations • Ability to lead a team of both hourly and salaried staff including direct and indirect scope up to 100 employees • Ability to travel up to 75% within the U.S. • Willingness to be deployed with short notice and be stationed at a particular location for potentially months at a time
