Beschreibung

• Assess prospects of repair versus total loss using available engineering tools and established guidelines and procedures • Make commercial decisions regarding claims • Mitigate ancillary claim spend on hire, storage, and recovery charges • Assess repair costs accurately by authorising repairs and supervising prompt payment of accounts • Obtain high-quality, value-for-money repairs without adversely affecting vehicle safety • Produce reports and estimates promptly and accurately • Authorise repairs and value vehicles • Categorise and dispose of salvage in accordance with ABI guidelines • Develop and maintain relationships with claims handlers, repairers, and intermediaries • Monitor repair work and repairer activities to control average repair costs and substandard repair referrals

🎯 Anforderungen

• Thorough knowledge of the details of methods of motor vehicle accident repair • Experience of estimating and negotiation • VDA ATA AQP Accreditation • Thorough knowledge of computerised estimation systems, including Audatex and Glassmatix • Thorough knowledge of Thatcham Escribe • Successful applicants must complete a standard criminal record check and insolvency register check • Applicants must have at least one year remaining on a Graduate or Post-Study Work visa if applicable • Acorn Insurance is unable to offer visa sponsorship
