Beschreibung

• Maximize store sales through customer service, product availability, merchandising, and store image • Provide store management with promotional recaps, business opportunities, results, trends, and competitive information • Manage controllable merchandise, labor, cash, repair, maintenance, and other operating costs • Collaborate with marketing on promotions and new product introductions • Provide feedback to category managers regarding stock issues • Partner with vendors to ensure product availability and timely promotion execution • Ensure profitable store operations through P&L management • Enforce company policies, procedures, government regulations, and restricted-sales requirements • Maintain safe and secure working environments and provide safety communication and training • Forecast financial requirements, prepare annual budgets, schedule expenditures, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions • Lead and direct Store Managers, including recruiting, selection, orientation, development, training, performance monitoring, coaching, counseling, and corrective actions • Adhere to the Company Operating Policy of legal, ethical, and moral practices • Accomplish Financial and Key Result Area targets pursuant to company plan guidelines • Travel by car approximately 50% of the time

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred; other combinations of job-related experience and education may be substituted • Three to five years of retail business experience or more preferred, including a minimum of two years of management responsibility • Demonstrated leadership ability, good communication skills, self-directed, self-motivated, and customer-service oriented • Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English • Ability to supervise and train Store Managers in the use of store equipment, tools, and materials • Ability to supervise and manage the functions listed in the Store Manager job description • Expertise with MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word preferred • Current valid driver’s license required to operate a company vehicle • Valid driver’s license required • Ability to sit, talk, and/or hear; use hands to handle or grasp items; occasionally stand, walk, and reach • Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level • Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead • Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 40 pounds from ground to waist level • Ability to push and pull with arms using up to 20 pounds of force • Ability to climb a ladder • Ability to work occasionally in extreme temperatures in walk-in coolers/freezers
