Beschreibung

• Support Public Sector networking opportunities by discovering, qualifying, and documenting customer requirements • Partner with Account Managers, Sales teams, vendor partners, and internal technical resources on customer conversations and solution development • Assist with networking-focused recommendations involving switching, routing, wireless, security, and related infrastructure • Ask discovery questions about customer environments, timelines, procurement requirements, funding considerations, and business outcomes • Participate in sales calls, opportunity reviews, customer planning discussions, and internal enablement activities • Learn public sector and E-rate sales cycles, eligible solution categories, documentation expectations, and funding considerations • Collaborate with services partners to execute E-rate projects • Pursue assigned vendor training, technical sales certifications, and internal learning paths • Support customer-facing and internal events as a technical sales-support and enablement resource

🎯 Anforderungen

• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is unavailable • Experience and understanding of ERATE programs and policies • Ability to manage services partners for ERATE opportunity execution • Understanding of leading manufacturers' routing and switching architecture • Cisco Networking skills required • Ability to lead and conduct workshops and demonstrations • Experience with storage and virtualization products from leading manufacturers • Understanding of Converged Infrastructure concepts and Cloud solution benefits • Familiarity with HP, Dell, Lenovo, and Cisco blade and rack server systems and related storage products • Familiarity with enterprise storage arrays including HP, EMC, IBM, Dell, and NetApp • Familiarity with converged and/or hyper-converged platforms • Familiarity with Software Defined Networking (SDN) and Software Defined Data Center (SDDC) • Familiarity with cloud solution offerings and providers • Familiarity with VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft products • Familiarity with Microsoft Enterprise environments • Familiarity with Linux, UNIX, or AIX enterprise environments • Familiarity with data center consolidation and cloud solutions • Familiarity with disaster recovery and business continuity • Verifiably successful professional business-to-business solutions selling experience with account planning and up-sell/cross-sell strategies • Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation delivery • Advanced negotiation skills
