Beschreibung

• Provide project leadership within the Substation Engineering team. • Lead project engineering activities. • Develop substation general arrangements. • Prepare control house layout plans and sections. • Design grounding, lightning protection, conduit/trench layouts, material lists, and construction specifications. • Prepare calculations for grounding, lightning protection, voltage drop, AC/DC load studies, and related studies and reports. • Support and coordinate engineering and design related to civil/structural aspects of designs. • Coordinate with Protection Control Engineering. • Provide guidance and mentorship within the engineering and design team. • Perform quality control/assurance reviews. • Support projects from scoping through final design and project closeout. • Provide construction support. • Maintain strong client focus and customer service.

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. • Professional Engineering Licensure (PE) is required; candidates with Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) on path to Professional Engineering licensure will be accepted. • Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in electric utility industry. • Direct experience with substation projects for electric utilities. • Experience in utility substation engineering focused on electrical or physical aspects of design. • Project Management skills and ability to meet critical deadlines. • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation is a plus. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to be client facing and interface with other disciplines. • Must be an outgoing team player with the ability to provide client confidence.
