Beschreibung

• Lead proposal response strategy for the Assessment and Psychometrics teams to position Curriculum Associates assessment products for state and district needs • Drive development and ongoing management of the proposal response process • Translate technical documentation into proposal text, assessment boilerplate, and technical reference materials • Manage assessment boilerplate text, technical documentation libraries, and versioning as products, analyses, and research findings evolve • Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate proposal drafting, boilerplate development, and technical documentation workflows, with expert review for accuracy and rigor • Collaborate with Assessment, Psychometrics, Marketing, Bids and Proposals, Sales, and other cross-departmental teams • Serve as a primary translator between psychometric expertise and documentation, proposal, and strategic communication needs • Act as a psychometric and assessment subject matter expert to diagnose proposal gaps, develop rigorous solutions, and provide product and implementation guidance • Report market needs and assessment capability gaps demonstrated in proposals to the broader Assessment team and drive strategic decisions • Review requests for proposals, information, and qualifications through a psychometric and assessment design lens • Guide communication of assessment, research, and implementation topics for the bids and proposals team • Lead and contribute to third-party-reviewed publications, technical reports, and conference presentations • Represent Curriculum Associates as a thought leader at NCME, CCSSO, AERA, and other educational measurement conferences • Model responsible AI adoption and build AI fluency across analysis, writing, communication, and technical project management

🎯 Anforderungen

• Doctorate (Ph.D. or Ed.D.) in Educational Measurement, Psychometrics, or a closely related field required; or Masters level qualification plus relevant experience in K-12 assessment instead • Minimum 5 years of technical writing experience with assessments • Deep expertise in psychometrics and educational measurement • Applied experience with item response theory, test development, validity, reliability, and standard setting • Demonstrated ability to analyze, synthesize, and translate sophisticated psychometric technical materials into clear language for district, state, and policy audiences • Expertise in K-12 assessment design and technical content • Knowledge of Classical Test Theory, Item Response Theory, Computer Adaptive Testing, Standard Setting, Field Testing, Scaling and Equating, Reliability, Validity, Classification Accuracy, and bias and DIF analyses • Demonstrated experience communicating about K-12 digital assessment and learning with district- or state-level audiences • Experience leveraging AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot for proposal development, technical writing, and documentation management • Strong analytical, critical, and creative thinking skills • Excellent written and verbal communication • Ability to work self-directed and action-oriented, manage multiple concurrent tasks/projects, anticipate and solve problems, and develop creative solutions • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and business units with competing needs • Curiosity and initiative to learn new information, technologies, and skills • Preferred: experience in educational publishing proposal writing, particularly for state or large district RFPs • Preferred: peer-reviewed publications or professional conference presentations in educational measurement, psychometrics, or K-12 assessment • Preferred: operational K-12 assessment experience, including test development, standard setting, or technical manual preparation • Preferred: knowledge of state and national educational assessment policies and trends
