Beschreibung

• Provide technical product support to Sales, Product Management, Operations, and customers for assigned networking, data center, and related technology products • Participate in customer and internal discussions to understand technical requirements and recommend appropriate product configurations, alternatives, or solutions • Research product specifications, compatibility, features, configurations, and technical requirements • Troubleshoot product, equipment, configuration, and application issues and recommend appropriate solutions or next steps • Assist with development of network and infrastructure solutions based on customer requirements, product capabilities, availability, and cost considerations • Provide technical guidance regarding current and legacy product lines • Support product selection with specifications, compatibility information, configuration guidance, and technically appropriate alternatives • Assist with technical evaluation of returned, defective, or damaged products and guide appropriate resolution • Partner with Operations and technical teams on product testing and evaluation • Participate in vendor training and develop knowledge of new technologies, products, and product lines • Conduct product research and assist in evaluating new products, technologies, and vendors • Develop and deliver technical product information and training to internal teams and customers as appropriate • Provide technical input and subject-matter support to Marketing for product-related content and initiatives • Develop cross-functional knowledge of Product Management processes and assigned product categories • Maintain current knowledge of networking and infrastructure technologies and industry developments • Document technical findings, recommendations, configurations, and solutions • Escalate complex or high-risk technical issues to senior technical resources • Perform other assigned duties

🎯 Anforderungen

• Associate degree in Networking, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of relevant education, certifications, training, and experience • Three years of relevant technical experience in networking, infrastructure, technical support, product support, systems support, or a related technology environment • CCNA with strong enterprise networking experience • Ability to review customer requirements/BOM’s and recommend equivalent or alternative solutions across Cisco, HPE/Aruba, Arist and other manufacturers • Foundational knowledge of networking concepts, hardware, infrastructure, and associated technologies • Demonstrated ability to research and interpret product specifications and technical documentation • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities • Demonstrated customer-service orientation and ability to work effectively across teams • Ability and willingness to continuously develop technical and product expertise • Preferred: CCNP Enterprise certification • Preferred: Strong working knowledge of Layer 2/Layer 3 networking, BGP, OSPF, VLAN’s, VXLAN/EVPN, MLAG, STP, routing, switching, optics and high-speed ethernet • Preferred: Experience designing, configuring and troubleshooting multi-vendor enterprise and data-center networks • Preferred: Industry or manufacturer certifications related to networking, infrastructure, or assigned product technologies • Preferred: Experience supporting networking or data center equipment • Preferred: Experience working with enterprise networking manufacturers, products, or technologies • Preferred: Experience providing technical support to sales teams or customers • Successful completion and passing of a background check and drug test
