Beschreibung

• Processing and applying incoming customer payments (checks, wires, ACH, credit cards) to the appropriate accounts in a timely and accurate manner. • Reconciling daily cash receipts against bank statements and customer remittances. • Researching and resolving unapplied or misapplied payments and short/overpayments. • Communicating with internal teams (e.g., billing, collections, finance) to resolve payment issues or customer disputes. • Maintaining accurate documentation and records for audit purposes. • Generating and analyzing cash application reports to ensure completeness and accuracy. • Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes. • Identifying and implementing process improvements for greater efficiency and accuracy.

🎯 Anforderungen

• High school diploma or GED • An associate's or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. • 2+ years of experience in cash applications, accounts receivable, or general accounting. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AR processes. • Proficiency in Microsoft 365. • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
