Beschreibung

• Design enterprise data models, schemas, and data contracts for cross-system interoperability • Architect integration flows across CMS, E-EFMP, analytics systems, APIs, and shared services • Lead design of ETL/ELT pipelines, data transformation logic, and data ingestion processes • Develop event-driven architectures leveraging queues, messaging, and asynchronous workflows • Govern data mapping, lineage tracking, metadata strategy, and data quality standards • Collaborate with API architects to ensure consistent data contracts across integration layers • Define standards for data exchange, payload formatting, versioning, and schema evolution • Ensure data and integration designs align with IL5 cloud security, RMF controls, and Zero Trust principles • Oversee data migration planning, modernization strategy, and cross-system interface redesigns • Support analytics teams with data modeling, warehouse integration, and dataset provisioning • Produce enterprise data architecture documents, diagrams, and reference materials • Participate in architecture review boards, modernization planning, and cross-team technical discussions

🎯 Anforderungen

• Must hold an active Secret clearance • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field • Minimum 10 years of experience in data architecture, integration engineering, or enterprise system architecture • Experience designing data models, ETL pipelines, and event-driven data architectures • Experience supporting cross-system integrations, API data flows, or large-scale data ecosystems • Experience designing modern data architectures in federal or DoD mission environments • Strong understanding of enterprise data modeling, schema design, and metadata strategies • Experience designing integration workflows using APIs, messaging, and middleware platforms • Knowledge of ETL/ELT tools, pipelines, and data transformation frameworks • Understanding of event-driven architectures (pub/sub, message queues, streaming platforms) • Strong familiarity with AWS GovCloud IL5 data services and secure cloud architectures • Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity requirements, RMF controls, and Zero Trust data protection • Experience with modern data platforms (Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks, or equivalent) preferred • Experience with API gateways, microservices, or service mesh architecture preferred • Experience with data cataloging, lineage tracking, or governance tools preferred • Required ITIL v4 Foundation certification • Required CompTIA Security+ certification • AWS Solutions Architect certification preferred • Data architecture or engineering certifications preferred • CISSP, CISM, or other advanced security certifications preferred • Strong analytical and systems-thinking abilities • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and mission teams • High attention to detail with strong documentation discipline • Ability to design complex data and integration solutions spanning multiple systems • Strong leadership and ability to drive enterprise-wide data architecture alignment
