Beschreibung

• Own the metric registry and establish canonical definitions for business metrics • Convene owners, document disagreements, drive decisions, and publish metric changes with rationale • Implement agreed definitions in the semantic layer and data catalog • Retire superseded metric versions • Audit the reporting estate and retire assets with no audience • Establish ownership for remaining reporting assets • Build data quality checks and agents for freshness, uniqueness, referential integrity, and cross-system reconciliation • Route data-quality failures to named owners or agents • Maintain an inventory of AI agents accessing company data and the definitions they rely on • Evaluate AI-agent output against known-correct answers and track accuracy, refusal, and error rates • Enable people and AI tools to access governed, trustworthy data • Work in a governance-first role with technical depth; defining, implementing, and validating are primary activities

🎯 Anforderungen

• 5+ years in analytics, analytics engineering, or a closely related field • Strong SQL, including comfort reverse-engineering undocumented transformation logic written by others • Direct ownership of a semantic or metrics layer in production using dbt, Cube, LookML, or equivalent • Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicting metric definitions across functions and land a decision • Clear written communication • Comfort deprecating and removing work that others built • Experience evaluating LLM or AI agent output against ground truth • Experience developing or contributing to a data catalog and/or lineage tooling • Nice to have: experience with lakehouse architectures, Iceberg, Athena, Trino, or similar • Nice to have: exposure to audit readiness, SOX, or financial controls environments • Nice to have: experience with consumption or usage-based business models • Nice to have: having joined a function early, before process existed • Comfortable adopting new AI models and modes quickly, integrating AI into workflows, and continuously experimenting • Must be located in the United States
