Beschreibung

• Advise clients on financial services regulatory and financial crime issues • Support internal and external investigations across financial services, energy, pharma and media sectors • Advise on M&A of regulated businesses, regulatory change and cross-border expansion • Advise on authorisation and structuring of regulated businesses, regulatory compliance, new product launches and multi-jurisdictional projects • Support clients through licensing, compliance and risk management systems, product materials, transactions, business reviews and regulatory applications • Support remediation exercises and liaise with regulators • Build and maintain client relationships • Contribute to business development, thought leadership and the external profile of the firm • Work closely with Banking, Financial Markets Litigation, TMT and Corporate teams • Develop expertise across UK financial services regulation, with opportunities in wholesale financial services, payments and consumer finance

🎯 Anforderungen

• 3+ year PQE lawyer • English law legal knowledge gained within a top-tier city firm • Strong academic record • Ability to work with a degree of independence • Exceptional drafting skills and legal research ability • Knowledge of the UK regulatory landscape and upcoming UK regulatory reform • Broad understanding of PSD3 & Open Banking, MIFID II, EMIR, MAR, DORA and MiCAR • Knowledge of the UK regulatory perimeter, including RAO, EMRs and PSRs • Knowledge or experience providing regulatory transaction support for M&A and corporate reorganisation • Knowledge or experience supporting FCA/PRA licensing processes, including authorisations, variation of permission, notifications and de-authorisation • Experience advising on wholesale financial services regulation advantageous • Strong financial, commercial and business awareness • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills • Good interpersonal and communication skills • Strong teamwork skills
