Beschreibung

• Serve as the technical anchor for the team • Invent software solutions that help ambitious brands grow faster • Take whole projects from inception to launch with minimal oversight • Lead architectural design of complex backend and distributed systems end to end • Own deployment, monitoring, incident response, and post-incident learning • Own workstreams and remove roadblocks • Document technical scope, requirements, estimates, timelines, and risks • Flag scope gaps, ambiguities, and documentation debt to project leadership • Act as a technical consultant to clients • Run client presentations, demos, and workshops • Distill technical information for engineers, executives, and other audiences • Evaluate whether proposed work maximizes client value • Mentor P1 and P2 engineers through pairing, code review, and design guidance • Lead smaller project teams of 2 to 5 individual contributors as needed • Partner with Project Managers, designers, and other crafts • Consult with and present to product managers, engineers, marketing, sales, and finance • Make frontend-aware architectural decisions and collaborate with frontend engineers

🎯 Anforderungen

• 7+ years writing software used by lots of people in the real world • 3+ years developing in Python, with deep expertise across multiple technical stacks • Expert-level knowledge of backend architecture, API design, and system design patterns, including microservices and serverless • Familiarity with agent development • Working knowledge of LLM concepts and ability to make tradeoffs between cost, relevancy, and speed • Proven experience using GenAI productivity tools, including Gemini CLI, Claude Code, and Codex, in real development workflows • Proven experience integrating APIs and other systems into end-user-facing applications • Excellent understanding of SQL and NoSQL database platforms • Working command of modern web frameworks, preferably Angular and TypeScript • Experience with one or more major cloud providers; Google Cloud preferred, AWS and Azure also fine • Hands-on comfort with Docker • Proficiency in Git or Mercurial, Agile processes, and CI/CD tooling • Ability to solve problems, take initiative, and work with minimal guidance in a fast-paced environment • Enjoyment of client conversations and ability to distill technical information for varied business roles • Strong leadership skills and ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders • Commitment to DEPT®'s B Corp values and purpose-driven work • E-Verify participation requires authorization to work in the U.S.
