Beschreibung

• This position is in DLB’s Mission Critical Department focusing primarily on hyperscale data centers and related mission critical facilities. • Collaborate with senior design staff to advance electrical design skills. • Work as part of the Engineering Team and interact closely with the Project Management Team. • Produce construction documents, develop and edit project specifications, and assist in the construction administration process. • Review and write basic sequence of operations. • Prepare project design and construction documents. • Work as part of the engineering team and interact closely with the project management team. • Review shop drawings and submittals, respond to RFIs, and complete punch lists and project closeout documents.

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical from ABET accredited institution, with a sound knowledge of engineering fundamentals • Minimum of three years of electrical engineering experience • Knowledge of the fundamentals of electrical systems found in buildings including single/three phase power distribution, lighting and lighting controls, grounding and life safety systems • Knowledge of codes and specifications for the design of electrical systems including National Electric Code, Life Safety and Energy Conservation Codes • Knowledge of technical / design software including short circuit coordination and arc flash studies, equipment sizing and lighting calculations • Skilled at producing drawings and visual aids using AutoCAD and Revit • Skilled at using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams), along with exceptional organizational skills for file management • Skilled in performing code analysis including selection of equipment, wiring, etc. to meet code requirements
