Beschreibung

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications according to specifications and business requirements • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code • Translate business requirements and user stories into technical solutions • Build and optimize database objects such as stored procedures, tables, views, and functions • Design and contribute to database architecture and data pipelines • Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks across the frontend, middle-tier API, and backend database • Build and maintain full-stack application features • Use AI-based coding assistants and agents in practice • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge • Collaborate with architects, product team, designers, QA, and other developers to define and ship features • Participate in agile ceremonies such as stand-ups and refinements • Create and maintain technical documentation for code, tools, and system architecture • Document design decisions, workflows, and operational procedures • Follow secure coding practices and organizational security policies • Ensure code and systems comply with FINRA, SEC, and other relevant regulations and standards • Participate in security reviews and address identified vulnerabilities

🎯 Anforderungen

• Must already live within commuting distance of the Philadelphia Metropolitan Area (PA, NJ, DE) at the time of application • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer • Visa sponsorship or transfer is unavailable • 7+ years of software development experience • Mastery of SQL/T-SQL, including navigating large codebases, stored procedures, and database objects • JavaScript experience; current use of Kendo UI • Server-side web experience in any modern stack • Git experience; the team uses GitLab • AWS or comparable cloud hosting provider experience • Knowledge of cloud-native application architectures, including containers, auto-scaling, and multiple concurrent instances (non-singleton) • Experience in or around finance is helpful • SQL Server performance optimization experience is nice to have • Data pipelines and ELT experience is nice to have • DBA or Microsoft SQL Server certifications are nice to have
