Beschreibung

• Join Driftrock’s product engineering team building marketing technology that powers vehicle sales for major automotive brands • Deliver features within the squad from idea through production • Build and ship product features in Elixir and Phoenix LiveView several times a week • Write well-tested, maintainable code using test-driven development • Participate in pairing and code reviews • Contribute to technical and product discussions and the roadmap • Build services across an event-driven architecture using APIs and RabbitMQ • Reliably handle growing volumes of customer data • Use data and observability to evaluate production behavior and customer value • Pair with the team, learn the codebase and domain, and ship changes during the first 30 days • Take on features independently and contribute to technical and product discussions by day 60 • Become a productive, trusted squad member and help shape problem-solving approaches by day 90 • Grow toward greater scope, independence and senior responsibilities

🎯 Anforderungen

• Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals through a CS degree or equivalent demonstrable grounding in data structures, algorithms, complexity and systems • Some professional backend experience, ideally with Elixir or a similar language • Genuine drive to deepen Elixir skills • Some web development experience, ideally server-rendered UI • Experience with or interest in LiveView and TailwindCSS • Habit of writing tested, maintainable code • Interest in continuous delivery, TDD, pairing, code review and retrospectives • Data-driven mindset • Judgement to use AI tools effectively and evaluate their output using computer science fundamentals • Desire to keep learning and collaborate closely in a small team • Bonus: production experience with Elixir, Erlang/OTP, Phoenix or LiveView • Bonus: background in Ruby or another functional language • Bonus: experience with event-driven systems, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL or Redis • Bonus: exposure to Kubernetes or Google Cloud
