Beschreibung

• Have field construction accountability for the successful execution of Power Grid Operations (PGO) construction, maintenance, and restoration activities. • Manage the execution of PGO work plan in accordance with the appropriate Scope and Method of payment while maintaining financial stewardship. • Ensure the efficient utilization of contractor resources to meet the work plan. • Ensure customer and company project goals are met while working with both internal and external stakeholders. • Serve as the single point of contact for all PGO contractors. • Ensure project is built per Duke Energy’s specifications and standards. • Assist the project team with managing, enforcing or ensuring: Project costs, Schedule adherence to achieve project in-service dates, Compliance with permitting requirements, Adherence to safe work practices, Coordination of material as needed, Public safety is maintained.

🎯 Anforderungen

• Five (5) years of experience and an Associates degree in Engineering Technology, Construction Management or Other Related Degree. • Seven (7) years of experience and Highschool Diploma/GED. • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management or relevant field experience and three (3) years' required work experience that must be in utility construction. • Experience performing H&S safety observations. • Possesses experience in multiple roles and/or jurisdictions in PGO. • Understanding of crane operations and associated rigging. • Understanding of DOT work zone compliance. • Thorough understanding of the “Keys to Life” safety document. • Demonstrated knowledge and skills with various internal tools and software applications - (Maximo, Plantview, Construction Audit Tool, iTOA, Duke Energy GIS system, Planed Outage Portal(D), and Duke Energy ADMS tool (Distribution).
