Beschreibung

• Support operations of the accounting teams and maintain understanding of evolving business models, policies, internal controls, financial systems, procedures, and processes • Collaborate across the organization and support key business decisions • Identify process improvement opportunities, including creating standard and ad hoc reports, tools, and dashboards • Prepare manual journal entries for accruals, prepaids, and reserves in accordance with GAAP • Monitor accounting entries and sub-ledger accounting during the month • Analyze monthly financial results and provide variance, trend explanations, and analytical write-ups to senior management and the business • Identify and explain data anomalies, exceptions, and changes to leadership • Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes • Support the annual audit process and respond to ad hoc information requests • Collaborate with international teams to ensure consistent application of accounting policy • Support data integrity for finance close documentation • Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations between sub-ledger and general ledger • Follow up with transaction-originating departments to resolve reconciling items and document procedures • Keep procedures up to date • Identify improvements in reconciliation and reporting procedures • Research accounting issues, document conclusions, and communicate recommendations to management

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting • 2+ years’ experience in public accounting or 4+ years in accounting/finance, etc. • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems • Continuous improvement mindset with an interest in process optimization and automation • Ability to work effectively across teams and geographies • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Successful completion of a background check as a condition of employment • CPA preferred • Public accounting experience a plus
