Beschreibung

• Serve as the primary technical and project management resource for supporting, maintaining, and expanding EMCOR’s OnPrem and Cloud VoIP infrastructure • Support and troubleshoot EMCOR operating company systems to ensure reliability and alignment with business operations • Perform configuration changes and maintenance on PBXs, Session Border Controllers, and SIP Proxies • Troubleshoot VoIP call quality and termination issues • Submit, track, and complete Local Number Portability requests • Manage telecommunications circuit orders, moves, adds, changes, and disconnects • Prepare monthly intercompany chargeback statements • Provide technical support and guidance to operating company and business unit IT personnel • Onboard new locations to the EMCOR VoIP network with local IT resources and service providers • Initiate, manage, and close internal and service provider trouble tickets • Research problems and evaluate solutions • Evaluate best practices and new technologies, including Microsoft Teams calling • Perform other assigned duties

🎯 Anforderungen

• At least 7 years of experience supporting Avaya Telephony Platforms, including Communications Manager, IP Office, System/Session Manager, and Avaya Session Border Controllers • In-depth knowledge of SIP and H.323 signaling protocols • Demonstrated experience supporting an enterprise SIP trunking infrastructure • Knowledge of scripting for mass configuration changes and upgrades • Experience with Local Number Portability and telecom carrier management • Proven project management experience for new VoIP installations and upgrades • Ability to learn new technologies quickly • Ability to work independently • Experience with virtual phone systems running on VMware and Microsoft Teams calling preferred
