Beschreibung

• Design, build, test, and deliver customer-facing features, services, and components from technical design through production • Evaluate technical approaches and trade-offs while contributing to system architecture • Balance customer needs, business priorities, performance, scalability, and maintainability • Develop and operate reliable, scalable web services, APIs, and distributed systems • Integrate third-party services and SaaS platforms using APIs, events, webhooks, and other integration patterns • Maintain engineering standards through unit, functional, and integration testing, code reviews, and design reviews • Improve system reliability, performance, scalability, and maintainability • Partner with Product and UX teams to translate customer needs into technical solutions and cohesive digital experiences • Solve complex technical and business challenges and identify risks early • Collaborate across engineering teams on architecture and technical standards • Mentor and support engineers through knowledge sharing, feedback, and technical guidance

🎯 Anforderungen

• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship • Professional software development experience building and supporting customer-facing software systems • Strong software engineering fundamentals with experience delivering production-quality code • Experience designing, building, and maintaining reliable web services and APIs • Working knowledge of distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and modern software development practices • Experience integrating third-party services or platforms using APIs, events, webhooks, or similar technologies • Ability to work independently, exercise sound technical judgment, and evaluate technical trade-offs • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complex challenges while maintaining high engineering standards • Experience collaborating with Product, UX, and engineering stakeholders • Strong communication skills with experience participating in technical discussions, code reviews, and design reviews • Preferred: experience with e-commerce or marketplace systems, including product catalogs, product configuration, shopping carts, checkout, payments, order management, or fulfillment • Preferred: experience building high-performance customer-facing applications and optimizing frontend performance • Preferred: experience designing scalable distributed systems and contributing to architecture across multiple teams • Preferred: experience mentoring engineers, coordinating technical initiatives, or influencing engineering standards • Preferred: experience working in a fast-paced environment where requirements evolve • Must complete the employer's vetting process, including an online assessment, initial video interview, and client final interview • Must clear a criminal background check prior to the first date of employment
