Beschreibung

• Receive client submissions and input client and examinee data in the system • Verify that cases contain information needed for clinical review • Maintain daily contact with the Clinical QA Department regarding workflow and pending reports • Track documentation of processes, communications, report status, and due dates • Maintain a daily follow-up and clarification tracker • Receive completed reports and review completeness, accuracy, formatting, grammar, and sentence structure • Complete or ensure daily invoicing in accordance with company practices and client contracts • Respond to physicians’ or clients’ requests for report status or information • Coordinate with transcriptionists and physicians’ offices regarding report details, clarification, and addendums • Ensure medical records and reports are properly documented and saved • Notify management of report issues or concerns • Follow HIPAA compliance practices, state and federal safety standards, and legal regulations • Promote effective and efficient use of clinical resources and supplies • Perform other assigned duties

🎯 Anforderungen

• High school diploma or equivalent required • A minimum of two years clinical or related field experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Knowledge of the insurance industry, preferably claims management relative to workers compensation, no-fault, liability, and/or disability • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, medications and laboratory values • Ability to perform arithmetic calculations with whole numbers and decimals and compute rates and percentages • Comprehensive understanding of PDF, XLSX, TIFF, JPG, and DOCX file types • Qualified typist with a minimum of 40 W.P.M. • Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Google Chrome • High proficiency with Windows or Mac OS • Excellent English usage, grammar, punctuation, and style • Ability to accurately follow instructions and respond to upper management • Accuracy, thoroughness, and quality monitoring • Exceptional communication skills • Ability to work independently, prioritize work, and use time efficiently • Ability to maintain confidentiality • Ability to promote a positive team-oriented environment • Ability to stay focused under normal or heavy distractions
