Beschreibung

• Provide support and serve as a bridge between practices and leadership for the Quality Payment Program (QPP) Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) • Serve as the point of contact for practices regarding MIPS support, questions, issues, and submissions • Prepare reports for the submission process • Audit and communicate with practices throughout the year • Assist with data validation to comply with CMS requirements and confirm reported data accuracy • Maintain in-depth knowledge of QPP and MIPS changes • Communicate MIPS information with leadership • Follow safety policies and procedures while supporting high-quality customer service • Perform other duties as necessary or assigned by management

🎯 Anforderungen

• High School or GED required • Bachelor's degree preferred • Previous medical office experience preferred; previous ophthalmic experience strongly preferred • Understanding of Medicare and coding rules and regulations • Experience and knowledge of EMR systems a plus • Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing • Logical and critical thinking skills • Excellent written, listening, and verbal communication skills • Detail-oriented, professional, reliable, and customer-focused • Ability to learn new technologies and systems • Management and organizational skills • Ability to follow or provide verbal and written instructions with sufficient grammar and spelling skills • Basic to intermediate problem-solving and mathematics ability • Basic to intermediate computer operation • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook • Specialty knowledge of systems relating to the job function • Knowledge of state and federal regulations and general understanding of HIPAA guidelines • For required work travel, access to dependable transportation and a driving record meeting company liability carrier standards
