Beschreibung

• Manage all aspects of the Solutions Engineering team within the F5 Tech vertical, with a focus on technical sales • Establish objectives and work plans and delegate assignments • Ensure the SE organization is fit for purpose to meet F5 company goals • Uphold F5’s Business Code of Ethics and report violations • Conduct performance evaluations, approve paid time off, assign work, provide training and guidance, manage performance improvement plans, take disciplinary action, and interview candidates • Define objectives, strategy, and priorities for engineers • Plan quarterly and yearly headcount with management • Manage candidate recruitment with HR • Develop organizational effectiveness, teamwork, technical development, and professional development • Maintain SE partner plans with professional services, support, marketing, and product management • Scale the SE organization and develop retention, recognition, compensation, and career planning • Assess SE skills and plan jobs • Drive product requirements and business units • Identify and communicate market trends • Ensure customer success and drive customer support awareness through escalation plans • Manage customer and partner relationships, post-sales issues, and escalations • Present F5 strategy, solution messaging, and roadmap • Understand customer requirements and challenges and present related F5 solutions • Analyze business strategy and competition • Provide product feasibility analysis in support of sales efforts • Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Anforderungen

• BS or BA degree required or relevant work experience • Experience managing technical SEs in a management role • Thorough understanding of networking technologies and applications delivery • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technologies • Self-motivated and able to persuade direct reports and others outside the organization • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels within an organization
