• Manage all facets of relationships with named or large key accounts • Develop opportunities across the F5 solution portfolio and sell solutions and services • Serve as the primary point of contact for major accounts • Sell products and services to and manage relationships with existing national named accounts • Grow and retain named accounts while ensuring ongoing customer service • Identify and qualify short- and long-term business opportunities • Identify and address competitive threats • Prepare formal proposals and presentations and present to all organizational levels, including executives • Lead negotiations, coordinate complex decision-making processes, overcome objections, and close sales • Manage and develop significant key partner relationships • Facilitate executive-level relationships among customers, F5, and partners • Maintain knowledge of industry trends, technical developments, and government regulations affecting target markets • Understand customer business needs and communicate how F5 solutions address them • Research potential customers, follow up on leads, develop leads, and close deals • Coordinate account strategy and tactics for sales support teams • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and use Salesforce appropriately • Develop detailed account profiles and interpersonal charts for management review • Develop strategies for sustained business success and coordinate resources to meet goals • Partner with internal and external teams and channels to develop creative technical solutions • Travel up to 50% and periodically work on call or outside normal hours

🎯 Anforderungen

• 8+ years of direct work experience in a relevant account management environment • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience • Strong negotiation and closing skills • Strong solution selling and presentation abilities • Advanced client interfacing and customer-focused approach • Strong influencing skills • Proven selling skills in a complex matrix environment • Effective use of internal relationships and resources • Ability to handle time, prioritize workload, and develop and lead pipeline and forecasting • Ability to provide and work from a home office located within the territory • Specialized knowledge in networking products, preferably F5 products • Experience with Internet-related software or systems • Ability to travel up to 50% by automobile and airplane • May be required to be on call periodically and work outside normal working hours
