Beschreibung

• Develop and maintain Java microservices, following software architecture and design best practices • Implement and integrate messaging solutions (asynchronous and event-driven) • Design and consume REST APIs and domain events • Participate in the technical specification of solutions, contributing to architectural decisions • Implement observability practices (logs, metrics, and tracing) • Identify and resolve performance, concurrency, and scalability issues • Work collaboratively with product, QA, and infrastructure teams • Provide technical support and mentorship to less experienced developers • Ensure adherence to service security, versioning, and governance standards

🎯 Anforderungen

• Experience in Java: OOP, collections, concurrency, error handling, debugging, testing, and refactoring. • Proven experience with microservices development and messaging. • Experience with system evolution and legacy modernization, especially upgrading runtime, dependencies, and frameworks. • Experience with Java 17 and a good understanding of Java 21. • Experience with Spring Boot and building/maintaining APIs and services. • Hands-on experience with AWS: deployments, observability, troubleshooting, IAM, messaging, and integrations. • Practical knowledge of Kubernetes: deployments, configuration, logs, probes, variables, secrets, and basic operation. You don't need to be a Kubernetes operator, but should understand pod management and rollouts. • Familiarity with GitOps/CI-CD and continuous delivery workflows with change control. Experience with SQL to investigate incidents, validate rules, and understand production impact. • Experience with RESTful API design patterns. • Experience with hexagonal and clean architecture. • Experience with unit testing. • Autonomous with responsibility: investigates, tests hypotheses, and arrives with a proposed solution, not just the problem. • Mature in giving and receiving feedback and able to disagree without turning technical discussions into personal conflict. • Flexible with technology stack and not attached to any specific language or tool. • Aligns with decisions once made: contributes to the debate and then executes without passive resistance. • Constructive attitude when facing constraints, legacy systems, and imperfect contexts. • Strong prioritization skills and ownership to drive tasks to completion. • Proactive in seeking information, curious, and autonomous in reading code and understanding context. • Willing to identify opportunities, propose approaches, and contribute to a squad that is maturing.
